Captain Ali Al-Shasmi, a seasoned pilot with 12 years of experience, underlined during the HeliShow Dubai that this helicopter is well known for its dependability and cutting-edge technology. The helicopter’s interior has been carefully planned to accommodate a range of emergencies. A longboard on the right side is essential for getting to challenging places. Al-Shasmi stated, “During rescue operations, we lower the longboard, allowing us to bring patients or individuals in distress onboard safely.” We have two options for sea rescues: a basket system to raise the injured or a double-lift operation in which a rescuer lowers to help them.
A key component of the AW139’s capabilities is medical equipment. Al-Shasmi says, “we have sophisticated monitoring systems that track vital signs, including blood pressure and heart rate.” “We use specialised incubators that offer controlled environments for safe transport between hospitals in cases involving newborns.
