The Emirates Group honoured the contributions made by Emirati women and the essential work they accomplish to promote excellence in travel and aviation in the United Arab Emirates.
According to a press release the organisation released on Wednesday, Emirati women are paving the way for future generations of aviation professionals by establishing a talent pipeline and pursuing careers in a range of business functions at the Emirates Group.
Women make up about 38% of the Group’s Emirati workforce, and during the most recent fiscal year, the company hired a record number of Emirati women. This demonstrates even more the Emirates Group’s dedication to empowering Emirati women with the necessary knowledge, abilities, and experience to succeed in the expanding aviation industry in the United Arab Emirates and realise their full potential.
Another significant accomplishment for the Emirates Group this year was a 20% increase in the proportion of Emirati women appointed to leadership positions over the prior year. Currently, the organisation has over 200 Emirati women in leadership roles, fostering growth in a variety of business areas.
