Indians with US, UK, and EU Visas can Enter and Remain in the UAE more Easily

The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security (ICP) has announced an extension of the visa exemption for Indian nationals who reside in the US, UK, and EU.

Those with tourist visas for the US, UK, and EU are now included in the exemption, and their stay may be prolonged above the initial visa period as long as their passport and visa are valid for at least six months and the required costs are paid.

The decision to issue visas to Republic of India citizens, including those who currently hold visas from the United States, the United Kingdom, and the European Union, is in line with the long-term strategic partnership between the UAE and the United Kingdom, said Major General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, Director General of the ICP.

For Republic of India citizens and their family members, the following fees apply to the issuance of an entry visa with a 14-day validity period for regular passport holders with a visa: A resident or green card holder granted by the United States, any member of the European Union, or the United Kingdom would pay Dhs100 for a visa, and Dhs250 for an additional 14-day extension. A 60-day visa was issued for a price of Dhs 250.
