The requests of twenty-one ailing Gazan youngsters who are now being hosted in the United Arab Emirates have been granted by the Make-A-Wish Foundation in association with Emirates Humanitarian City. A spectacular celebration with cartoon characters, magic acts, and a variety of food and sweets was planned by the charity at Humanitarian City. Mubarak Al-Qahtani, the official spokesman for Emirates Humanitarian City, was present at the occasion, as were other prominent members of the media.
Al-Qahtani made the following observation: “This event not only fulfils the dreams of the children but also demonstrates the UAE’s commitment to helping those in need and humanitarian causes. The foundation of our nation’s vision is the conviction that every child, no matter what their circumstances, deserves dignity, hope, and the chance to prosper.
The women and children from Gaza conveyed their appreciation to the United Arab Emirates for their warm hospitality as well as for offering them security and safety. They also expressed gratitude to the Humanitarian City organisers and the Make-A-Wish Foundation for granting their wishes and bringing them moments of joy and happiness.
“In keeping with the UAE’s long-standing humanitarian tradition of supporting its brothers and sisters, we were committed to fulfilling the wishes of these children who are facing significant humanitarian and health challenges,” stated Hani Al Zubaidi, CEO of Make-A-Wish Foundation UAE. Our intention was to give them the happiness they had long yearned for and to instill optimism and hope in their hearts during this trying period for their country.”
