The MCM Student-Run Agency has been formally opened on the campus of American University of Sharjah (AUS) by Sheikha Bodour Bint Sultan Al Qasimi, President of AUS and Chairperson of the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Centre (Sheraa).
This initiative, a joint effort by AUS, Sheraa, and National Network Communications (NNC), a renowned full-service smart agency headquartered in Sharjah, aims to empower youth by encouraging innovation and allowing students to realise their ideas. Offering students in the media communication department professional guidance and practical experience in advertising, public relations, marketing, and communications, it is a first for the UAE and the larger region. This will give aspiring professionals the tools they need to be successful in the workforce.
“We are creating an environment for ideas and potential to converge, empowering founders and nurturing the next generation of pioneers,” Sheikha Bodour said in a speech during the launch. Our students’ passion and zeal constantly inspire me, and their enormous potential is brought to my attention every day. We are dedicated to offering the direction and assistance required to realise their creative ideas through this organisation. They control the future, so we have every reason to be hopeful.
