We recently had the opportunity to interview John Ray Broussard, Sales and Marketing Specialist at Magnolia Torque Services and also a Keynote Speaker, specializing in Emotional Intelligence.

John consistently worked on his personal branding and enhanced his networking abilities by improving himself and establishing his credibility in the coaching and speaking sector by presenting his knowledge at several industry gatherings, webinars, and workshops.

In this session, John shares his visions on the influence of technology in this field, challenges, and expansion plans.

We started the interview by asking, “How do you stay ahead of technological advancements in your industry, and how has this impacted your business model?”

John shared, “I make it a priority to stay informed about the latest technological advancements in my industry by attending conferences, networking with industry experts, and continuously educating myself through online courses and workshops. This has allowed me to integrate new technologies into my business model, improving efficiency and staying competitive in the market.”

One significant challenge I faced in my business was marketing myself and getting speaking engagements. To overcome this, I invested in personal branding, improved my networking skills, and sought out opportunities to showcase my expertise through webinars, workshops, and industry events. By consistently putting myself out there and building credibility in my field, I was able to overcome this challenge and establish a strong presence in the market.” John added.

To learn more about John’s strategic planning approaches, we inquired, “How do you approach strategic planning and decision-making in your organization?”

He replied, “I approach strategic planning and decision-making in my organization by conducting thorough research, analyzing data, and seeking input from key stakeholders. I prioritize long-term goals, align them with the company’s vision, along with fostering collaborative, transparent decision-making to engage stakeholders and ensure the organization’s success.”

Leadership and Company Culture

We were intrigued to learn more about the approaches followed by John to encourage a healthy workspace. So, we asked, “What is your approach to leadership and fostering a positive company culture?”

John shared, “In terms of leadership, I believe in leading by example and fostering a positive company culture based on trust, respect, and open communication. I strive to empower my team members, encourage creativity and innovation, and create a supportive work environment where everyone feels valued and motivated to achieve their full potential.”

Adaptability to Market Changes

Having agility in business operations ensures its sustainability amidst market changes. We asked, “How do you ensure your business remains adaptable and responsive to market changes?”

To ensure that my business remains adaptable and responsive to market changes, I regularly monitor industry trends, gather feedback from clients, and conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and challenges. By staying proactive and agile, I can quickly adjust my strategies and operations to meet evolving customer needs and market demands.” He shared.

Long-Term Goals

To learn more about the plans John Ray Broussard has set for his business, we inquired, “What are your long-term goals for your business, and how are you working towards achieving them?”

John said, “My long-term goals for my business include expanding my coaching and speaking services globally, establishing strategic partnerships with other industry leaders, and developing innovative solutions to help individuals achieve emotional mastery and self-improvement. I am working towards achieving these goals by continuously refining my offerings, investing in professional development, and building a strong network of clients and collaborators.”

Advice For Emerging Entrepreneurs

Lastly, seeking guidance for beginners in this field, we asked, “What advice would you give to emerging entrepreneurs in your industry?”

My advice to emerging entrepreneurs in the coaching and speaking industry is to focus on building a strong personal brand, honing your expertise, and cultivating relationships with key influencers in your field. Invest in continuous learning, stay adaptable to market changes, and never stop innovating and improving your services to meet the evolving needs of your clients. Most importantly, believe in yourself, stay resilient in the face of challenges, and never underestimate the power of perseverance and determination in achieving your goals.” John concluded.
