Teachers advise parents to refrain from using illicit transport services and to put their children’s safety before their own financial interests.
This warning comes after a recent incident on Tuesday that involved a vehicle rollover on the Hatta-Lahbab road, injuring 11 people and killing a 7-year-old student from a Dubai school. The car was rented and used to pick up the students from the school following dismissal.
“School buses are highly recommended due to the well-trained staff on board,” stated Dr. Arogya Reddy, Principal of Ambassador School Sharjah. In addition, bus attendants help passengers board and disembark, guaranteeing efficient operations and punctuality. Safety protocols are strictly adhered to, and all bus personnel are approved by regulatory bodies such as the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA). Complete surveillance is ensured by the 360-degree cameras installed on the buses. Regulation adherence is carefully considered.
School administrators have emphasised that school bus transportation is a safe and secure option for kids. It is well-run, with all required permits obtained and stringent monitoring procedures in place. The personnel in question exhibit a strong sense of responsibility by being authorised, trained, and held accountable for their actions.
