The tenth meeting of the Joint Consular Committee between the UAE and Iran was held in Abu Dhabi to serve their citizens and advance and bolstering their general cooperation in consular matters.
Alireza Bikdeli, Acting Deputy Minister for Consular, Parliamentary, and Iranian Expatriates Affairs, presided over the meeting on behalf of the Iranian side, while Khalid Abdullah Belhoul, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, led the Emirati side.
The two parties strengthened their cooperation in consular affairs and talked about several common consular issues and future development plans during the meeting.
In order to foster and fortify the two nations’ bilateral ties and improve bilateral relations, Belhoul emphasised the UAE’s willingness to expand its cooperation in all spheres, including trade and the economy.
He reaffirmed the UAE leadership’s commitment to constructive dialogue and cooperation while highlighting the significance of forging strong ties with neighboring nations in order to promote stability, prosperity, peace, and development for all.
Belhoul subsequently delivered the greetings and expressed gratitude for the positive developments in the two nations’ relations from Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
