His Majesty Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum reiterated that the country’s sacrifices would always be a source of pride and inspiration in the history and collective conscience of the United Arab Emirates. Their sacrifices demonstrate the lasting power of Emirati identity and legacy by embodying the finest qualities of patriotism, honor, dignity, loyalty, and service—values that have been passed down through the years. Sheikh Mohammed praised the martyrs’ bravery and tenacity and deeply admired and appreciated them and their families.
Whether at schools, institutions, or on the battlefield, our armed services have been instrumental in producing martyrs within their ranks, and for that we applaud and deeply appreciate them. Whether on the battlefield, along borders, or in defending the integrity of our lands, waterways, and airspace, officers and soldiers have lived, trained, and performed their jobs alongside one another. They have committed themselves to maintaining our flag high, defending our independence, and strengthening our country against all dangers, no matter their origin or nature, all while remaining united in their promise of allegiance,” His Highness continued.
