Non-resident Indians (NRIs) in the United Arab Emirates are becoming increasingly interested in life insurance due to factors like low premiums, strong returns, potential for economic growth, and the growing number of foreign nationals opting to return home.
According to Bajaj Allianz Life’s chief operations and customer experience officer Rajesh Krishnan, many NRIs from the UAE between the ages of 31 and 45 have life insurance policies. Interest in life insurance is growing among NRIs. Because life insurance is essential, our Indian and American regulators are raising awareness and educating the public. Crucially, the premium one pays is negligible compared to the entire investment they make in various goods, he stated.
He said that NRIs should think carefully about purchasing policies as soon as they arrive in the UAE. Delaying the decision may result in higher premiums, which underscores the advantages of early subscription.
For speedy claim settlement, the company also permits procedures through digital claim submissions. Additional services that have aided in the region’s expansion include the ability for policy premiums to be automatically paid by credit cards issued by foreign banks, a dedicated NRI desk, digital onboarding procedures, and customer support options like video calls, live chat, and self-service via WhatsApp.
