Tuesday, June 3, marked the conclusion of the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) as RCB defeated Punjab Kings by six runs in the final, which was held at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium. For the first time in eighteen years, RCB won the IPL title after successfully defending 190 runs in the summit battle.
Several players established various records during the 74-match tournament, which took place from March 22 to June 3, during the 18th season of the Indian Premier League.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi is the youngest player in history to make an IPL debut. On April 19, 2025, at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, the 14-year-old Bihar left-handed batsman played for the Rajasthan Royals against the Lucknow Super Giants.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi became the youngest batter in T20 history to register a century at 14 years and 31 days. He got a century off of 35 balls for the Riyan Parag-led team on April 28 during the IPL 2025 match between RR and GT at Sawai Mansingh Stadium.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi achieved the record for the fastest century scored by an Indian batsman in IPL history on April 28 during the RR vs. GT IPL 2025 match in Jaipur. In just 35 balls, he helped the team captained by Riyan Parag reach the 100-run milestone.
The best individual score by an Indian batter in an IPL game was achieved by Abhishek Sharma of SRH against Punjab Kings on April 12 in Hyderabad, when he hit 141 runs off 55 balls.
