After a software used by many firms to log timesheets and generate invoices increased bills by up to 1500%, customers expressed their indignation. One individual referred to it as “daylight robbery.” The chairman of the UK consulting firm Salentis, Richard Haldenby, told the BBC that his monthly fee had increased from $130 (£95.50) to $2,110. Similar price increases have been reported online by others; one US resident claims their annual fee increased from $2,800 to $23,000.
Harvest has been contacted by the BBC for comment. Bending Spoons, an Italian IT business, purchased Harvest in 2025 and altered its pricing structure the following year. Since their payments are set to expire, many companies that make yearly payments are just now learning about the hike. Haldenby, whose company employs up to 15 people in the UK at any given time and has sister businesses in the US and Australia, claimed he was “in shock” upon receiving an email outlining the price adjustments. We have been devoted and passionate supporters of Harvest for at least 15 years, using it in all three of our businesses,” he stated.
