A US Judge Releases The Alleged Suicide Note of Jeffrey Epstein

A document allegedly authored by convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein one month before to his death has been ordered to be made public by a US judge. It is a treat to be able to choose one’s time to say goodbye” and refers to a months-long investigation that “found nothing” in a copy of the handwritten message that was unsealed on Wednesday.

After Epstein attempted suicide in July 2019, his old cellmate says he discovered the message hidden into a book. A month later, Epstein was discovered dead in his cell. US officials have not commented, and the BBC has not confirmed that Epstein wrote the note.

Authorities declared his death to be a suicide while he was awaiting a trial for sex trafficking. As part of criminal proceedings concerning Nicholas Tartaglione, a former cellmate who was being kept in the cell at the time while awaiting trial for four murders, the alleged note was sealed.

Epstein once accused Tartaglione, a former police officer convicted of quadruple murder, of attacking him, a charge he refuted. In a podcast last year, he first mentioned the note.
