According to the Statistical Centre for the Cooperation Council for the Arab Countries of the Gulf (GCC-Stat), the UAE is a global center for the new economy. Its dynamic and fiercely competitive economy, adaptable and productive human capital, and cutting-edge, innovation-driven environment are influencing the future.
The center said in a study celebrating the 53rd Eid Al Etihad that the United Arab Emirates has become one of the most wealthy societies in the world, with an integrated social system, a caring and empowering society, and sophisticated education throughout life.
As a significant force for stability, growth, and the global agenda for environmental sustainability and a leading ecosystem, the UAE also strongly supports international cooperation.
Additionally, it ranks fourth internationally in Economic Performance 2024 and first globally in Maritime Protection/Wastewater Reuse/Net Carbon Flows 2024, Competitiveness in Green Hydrogen Production, and Global Trade Indicators 2024.
Additionally, the nation is ranked first in the Arab world in the 2024 Gender Inequality Index, Best Performing Education Systems Index, and Human Development Index.
