IATA research indicates that international passenger traffic rose by 20% in March 2024 compared to the same month the previous year. Innovation is crucial to enabling the aviation industry to handle this substantial increase in air traffic, says Kashif Khalid, Regional Director, Africa & Middle East, IATA.
The Arabian Travel Market (ATM) exhibition, which attracted about 2,300 exhibitors this year, is viewed as a perfect platform for the hospitality industry in Dubai by Al Bandar Rotana, a five-star hotel with a prime waterfront.
According to Ayman Ashor, Cluster General Manager of Al Bandar Rotana and Arjaan by Rotana, ATMs serve as launching pads for domestic and international travel and tourism investors.
To entice clients and groups to visit the city and his property, Ashor reported meeting important partners during the event and providing them with useful information, numerous new packages, and competitive rates. Dubai welcomed 5.18m international overnight visitors in the first three months of 2024, 11 per cent higher than the first quarter of last year.
