Dubai: Get to know Qatar Airways’ first AI Cabin Crew that Looks like Humans.

The second generation of the world’s first AI-powered cabin staff will be available for visitors to see, interact with, and engage with at Dubai’s Arabian Travel Market (ATM).

During next week’s event, Qatar Airways’ Sama 2.0 will respond to real-time inquiries, assist travelers in creating personalized travel experiences, and provide information on FAQs, locations, support advice, and much more.

In March of this year, the small airline debuted the holographic virtual cabin staff Sama 2.0 at ITB Berlin.

Over the past few years, Sophia, another humanoid robot, has gained media attention. In 2017, Saudi Arabia became the first nation in the world to give Sophia citizenship.

The longtime CEO Akbar Al Baker was replaced as group CEO by Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, who was recently nominated by the national carrier of Qatar.

We have determined to launch a newly-designed First Class cabin that is exclusive to Qatar Airlines since we perceive a large demand for First Class based on the demand from specific sectors. To create something unique, we are fusing our expertise flying executive and commercial aircraft. We are only finalizing, but we are 70–80% prepared.
