According to local sources, Ukrainian strikes on Russia have resulted in nine fatalities and twenty-three injuries, including a child. In the last 24 hours, eight people have died in the western Belgorod region that borders Ukraine. In the southern Astrakhan region, a woman passed away overnight. According to Ukraine, Russian drone attacks on the northeastern Sumy region and the eastern Donetsk region killed two persons each.
The strikes follow what Russia called Ukraine’s “largest-scale” offensive of the year, which claimed at least seven lives. On Saturday nite, Russian assaults on Ukraine resulted in at least seven fatalities and over 39 injuries.
