By sponsoring and actively participating in this year’s Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival (SEF) 2025, the Sharjah Business Women Council (SBWC) made a significant and enduring impression. In addition to its interactive pavilion, SBWC demonstrated its dedication to empowering women entrepreneurs and creating a vibrant ecosystem of innovation and collaboration by sponsoring the “Made in Sharjah” zone, supporting Startup and F&B Pods, and hosting an impressive panel discussion.
“The real power of entrepreneurship lies in the connections we build and the opportunities we create for others,” stated Maryam Bin Al Shaikh, Director of SBWC, in reference to the success of their involvement. We aim to ensure that female entrepreneurs drive the economy and are not merely participants in it.
NMU Initiative: During SEF 2025, SBWC also unveiled the “NMU Initiative,” which is appropriately titled to mean “growth” in Arabic and aims to empower Sharjah’s female entrepreneurs by giving them access to unique platforms and chances to market their goods and services. This program aims to foster economic empowerment, increase company awareness, and establish valuable networking possibilities for women-led enterprises in the emirate.
