UAE Backs Call for August 15th to Resume Talks on a Gaza Truce

The United Arab Emirates has joined the call for the conclusion of the ceasefire and the release of hostages and detainees made by President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi of Egypt, President Joe Biden of the United States, and Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar.

The deal that is currently on the table would put an end to the suffering of the people of Gaza as well as the hostages and their families, as stated by the three leaders.

The UAE is hoping that there won’t be any more delays from the parties. Lastly, the United Arab Emirates would like to express its gratitude and unwavering support for Egypt, Qatar, and the United States’ ceaseless efforts to mediate a settlement that would put an end to the suffering in Gaza.

Pakistan will support all efforts to prevent a war in the Middle East,” said Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch at a media briefing. She did not comment on whether Pakistan had contacted Washington over the issue.

Meanwhile, the UAE’s “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3” has carried out a number of humanitarian initiatives across the Gaza Strip to provide urgent aid to Palestinian facilities affected by harsh conditions and a shortage of living necessities and alleviate their suffering.
