UAE Citizens with valid US visas can Obtain Expedited Admission Starting October

UAE citizens having a US visa will soon be granted expedited admission into the United States.

This happened as the UAE and the United States agreed to put the country in the ‘Global Entry Programme’, which would make cross-border travel easier for Emiratis.Global entrance is a program that speeds up entrance procedures at US ports of entry. The program will speed up the arrival procedure for passengers to the United States while also improving security.

As a pre-screened Global Entry participant, passengers can check in at a Global Entry kiosk at a US Customs and Border Protection Preclearance facility or when they arrive at another US port of entry, bypassing long lineups and unnecessary paperwork. As part of this collaborative process, UAE and US government officials will begin to draft and finalise criteria for the UAE’s full participation in the Global Entry initiative.

The UAE Ministry of Interior and the United States Department of Homeland Security inked a bilateral agreement. The signing took held on the occasion of UAE President Sheikh Mohammed’s official visit to the United States.
