Volodymyr Zelensky has accused Moscow of employing North Korean missiles in the ongoing strikes between Russia and Ukraine overnight. The president of Ukraine claimed that ballistic missiles from Russia’s ally were responsible for the strikes on Zaporizhzhia, which resulted in at least six fatalities and 19 injuries. Ukraine attacked the online store Wildberries’ facilities in Voronezh, in southern Russia. In recent weeks, the business—known as Russia’s Amazon—has been the victim of numerous attacks.
The attacks occur one day after Ukrainian drone strikes on the Russian territory of Tatarstan, more than 1,100 kilometres (680 miles) from the Ukrainian border, resulted in the deaths of at least 13 persons, including one child. Zelensky stated that Russia “cannot wage war without reinforcements from North Korea” “for the first time” in a video speech on Monday nite.Zelensky stated that this puts the rest of the globe at risk. “The more North Korean strikes there are here in Ukraine, in Europe, the more their missiles and soldiers are used, the more they correct their shortcomings and blind spots.”
Zelensky also praised Monday’s successful airstrike on a Russian petrochemical factory in western Siberia as a “very significant achievement” by the Ukrainian military. He vowed “more Ukrainian deep strikes, which should demonstrate to Russia and the Russians that peace is necessary”.
