UAE: How these Locals save Hundreds of Dirhams on Extracurricular Activities and Classes for their Kids

For extracurricular activities, a lot of parents in the United Arab Emirates are using online platforms, which enable their kids to learn sports, dance, music, and languages.

Since in-person programs for these kinds of activities can be highly costly in the United Arab Emirates, frequently costing several thousand dirhams per child each term, this is a cost-effective option for families on a tight budget.

Parents also underlined that children may learn from any convenient place with online classes for extracurricular activities, which eliminates the need to manage the logistics of drop-offs and pick-ups at physical learning centres.”My 7-year-old son attends Quran classes from Pakistan, and my 11- and 12-year-old daughters attend Quran classes from Egypt,” stated American expat Naeema Zaki. I used to pay over Dh1,500 a month for all three of my children to receive in-person Quran instruction, but these days I only pay approximately half of that amount, and I can do it from the comfort of my home.

Bank transfers are a very simple payment method, and the timeframes are variable. It spares us the headache of picking up and dropping off kids at in-person lessons, which is particularly problematic for working parents.
