The Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives Foundation is supporting the “Al Fareej Fridge” humanitarian community initiative, which Ferjan Dubai started in collaboration with the UAE Water Aid Foundation and the Emirates Food Bank. As part of its effort to lessen the effects of summer heat on construction, agricultural workers in the streets and roads, and delivery drivers, the initiative has distributed one million bottles of cold water, juices, and ice cream, reaching a new milestone. The initiative aims to promote and solidify the values of generosity and compassion among various facets of Dubai society.
Ibrahim Al Balooshi, director of sustainability and partnerships at Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, emphasised the significant influence of the “Al Fareej Fridge.
According to him, these initiatives highlight the significance of bringing joy to all facets of society and offering all necessary resources to uplift people’s standard of living in Dubai, particularly in times of greatest need for community and humanitarian assistance.
According to Alia Al Shamlan, director of Ferjan Dubai, the distribution of one million water bottles is evidence of the Dubai community’s dedication to the ideals of charity and giving.
