A day after Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi claimed to have spoken with the billionaire entrepreneur about technology, Elon Musk said on Saturday that he will be travelling to India later this year. Musk said, “I am excited to travel to India later this year!” on his social networking platform X.
In a post on X on Friday, Modi claimed to have spoken with Musk and discussed “various issues, including the topics we covered during our meeting in Washington DC earlier this year.”
He made no indication of the precise time the chat occurred. They talked about the enormous potential for cooperation in the fields of innovation and technology, according to Modi.
The billionaires, who had been at war for months, made a surprising step in March when Elon Musk’s SpaceX and Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Jio agreed to deliver Starlink satellite internet services to India.
As a result of this agreement, Starlink will have a direct distribution point in thousands of retail locations throughout India thanks to the major telecom provider in the nation stocking Starlink equipment.
