For the majority of their season, Rajat Patidar’s Royal Challengers Bengaluru have been playing at an exceptionally high level. After suffering a hat-trick of defeats at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, they eventually found their first home victory. Apart from that, though, the Bengaluru-based team has had an easy time and appears to be the favourites to win the championship.
The 2025 Indian Premier League is scheduled to restart following a temporary hiatus caused by the escalating tensions between India and Pakistan. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) started working to restart the competition after the two countries declared a truce.
With three league games remaining, RCB has not yet secured their place in the playoffs. The initial schedule called for them to play the Kolkata Knight Riders (home), Sunrisers Hyderabad (home), and Lucknow Super Giants (away) on May 9 and May 13, respectively.
So far, RCB has amassed 16 points from 11 games, winning eight and losing three. Right now, they are ranked second in terms of points.
