On Wednesday, January 15, 2025, the Sharjah Education Academy (SEA) and the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) hosted a seminar at the Academy’s University City campus with the theme “Enhancing Academic Excellence, Quality Assurance, and International Accreditation in Higher Education” in partnership with the UK’s Quality Assurance Agency.
Khawla Al Hosani, the vice chancellor of Sharjah Education Academy, gave a welcome address and thanked everyone for their efforts to foster an academic culture before the seminar got underway. She underlined the significance of fostering academic achievement and quality standards to support Sharjah’s aim as a premier regional and global educational destination. She also emphasised the value of teamwork in fostering creativity and maintaining academic standards, emphasising the part that leadership plays in establishing a prestigious learning environment.
With an emphasis on creating educational results and guaranteeing students have clear career routes, the seminar seeks to raise the calibre of education in universities by recognising the most recent global trends and standards. This helps to prepare students for their future careers successfully. Additionally, it looks for the most effective ways for colleges to raise the standard of instruction and ensure that their curricula meet industry demands.
