On the sidelines of the International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX 2025), which was hosted at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with Italian Republic Defence Minister Guido Crosetto on Wednesday.
The Italian minister and Sheikh Mohamed talked about the two nations’ defence cooperation during their discussion. The importance of IDEX as a significant international forum for defence organisations and businesses from all over the world to exhibit their ideas and research the most recent developments in the defence sector was also emphasised.
Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Advisor to the President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammed Bin Hamad Bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Minister of State for Defence Affairs Mohamed Bin Mubarak Al Mazrouei, and Ambassador Yousef Al Otaiba of the United Arab Emirates to the United States of America attended the meeting. His Highness had earlier visited many exhibits and pavilions exhibiting state-of-the-art military equipment and technical solutions during his tour of IDEX 2025.
Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President Sheikh Mohammed Bin Hamad Bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor to the President for Strategic Research and Advanced Technology Faisal Abdulaziz Al Bannai, and Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces Staff Lieutenant General Engineer Issa Saif Mohammed Al Mazrouei accompanied His Highness on the tour.
