Since the ceasefire began and medical evacuations through the Rafah border resumed, the UAE Floating Hospital in Al-Arish has admitted some 30 patients from Gaza as part of “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3.”
Since the UAE Floating Hospital’s services for Palestinians began, 7,534 patients have received medical care, according to Dr. Mohammed Rashid Al-Kaabi, the hospital’s medical director. Additionally, it has fitted 21 prosthetic limbs for individuals in need, done 2,561 surgical procedures in a variety of specialities, and given physical therapy services to about 2,850 instances.
He emphasised that in keeping with the highest medical and humanitarian standards, the UAE Floating Hospital will continue to offer its medical services to Palestinian patients, demonstrating the UAE’s steadfast dedication to aiding relief efforts and providing all-encompassing healthcare to those in need.
According to him, the Floating Hospital is a component of continuous humanitarian efforts to lessen Palestinian suffering and offer specialised medical services, such as emergency surgeries, primary healthcare, and advanced treatment, all while being supervised by trained medical professionals and furnished with cutting-edge facilities.
