The Moáther Package, created to cater to the demands of influencers and content producers, was introduced on Wednesday by the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) in partnership with the UAE Media Council.
The FTA’s Director-General, Khalid Ali Al Bustani, stated, “This package includes innovative solutions and software for accounting developed in collaboration with our partners to support creators and influencers in achieving compliance with taxes flexibly and conveniently.
The FTA and the UAE Media Council organised an awareness seminar on tax compliance in the UAE for influencers and content producers. These meetings are part of the FTA’s broader and continuous efforts to draw attention to the UAE’s corporate tax and VAT compliance requirements and those of businesses liable for paying federal taxes in the country.
At the FTA, we think influencers are essential for educating people about tax culture. Many have already played a significant role in the success of numerous awareness initiatives in recent years, and they have joined forces with the FTA to spread tax messaging to the public in creative ways that use straightforward language to reach a variety of audiences across various platforms,” Al Bustani continued.
