An Indo-Canadian Voice story claims that shots were fired at Indian comedian and actor Kapil Sharma’s Kap’s Cafe in Surrey, the second such occurrence in less than a month. An attack was claimed by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang in a widely circulated social media post that criminal Goldy Dhillon purportedly posted. But as of yet, the assertion has not been independently verified. Authorities from Surrey Police have not yet released any information on the fire at Kaps Cafe. We’re waiting for further info.
This purported attack occurs less than a month after many bullets were fired during a shooting incident at the same cafe during the second week of July. The attack was being investigated by police, according to the Vancouver Sun. According to Surrey Police Service, around 1.50 am (local time), many gunshots had rang out outside Kap’s Cafe. Authorities claimed that a few employees were inside the eatery when the incident occurred. There were no casualties in the event.
Although there are retail stores on the ground floor and residential flats above, it was unknown how many people lived in the building where the café is situated. The ground-level apartments are occupied by two additional companies that have not yet been launched and a multifaith centre.
