The UAE Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, has welcomed its three millionth visitor since its April 2025 opening, marking an important milestone. The accomplishment demonstrates that the Pavilion is among the most popular national pavilions at the international event.
The UAE’s international appeal and dedication to promoting communication and cross-cultural exchange are reflected in this milestone, according to Shihab Alfaheem, Ambassador of the UAE to Japan and Commissioner General of the Pavilion. “The UAE Pavilion has achieved a significant milestone by reaching the three million mark. It demonstrates the universal relevance of the UAE’s narrative and our common goals for the future,” he said.
The Pavilion’s sustainable structure and immersive storytelling have won it considerable praise. It was created by the Earth to Ether Design Collective, a group of UAE, Japanese, and international partners. With 90 columns made from agricultural palm debris and modeled after the date palm, its architecture reflects a design philosophy focused on sustainability and communal purpose.
