Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the president of Ukraine, claims that Russia fired 30 missiles and more than 450 strike drones into different parts of Ukraine over the night into Saturday, killing at least three persons and wounding ten more.
Long into the fourth year of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, one person was killed in the hamlet of Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka in the eastern Donbas region, one of the most active frontlines.
Over the past 24 hours, the Kremlin has launched over 17 assaults on various settlements in the Donbas, killing two more civilians in the neighboring city of Kostiantynivka. Strikes against Druzhkivka also resulted in six injuries.
Many citizens across the city are experiencing power and water interruptions, the Ukrainian president said in a post on X on Saturday. However, he did mention that efforts are being made to reestablish connectivity.
In our towns impacted by Russia’s midnight attack, all essential services are currently working to restore the water and energy supplies. Once more, the Odesa area, the south of the nation, and our energy sector were the main targets of the strike, Zelenskyy stated. Zelenskyy claims that Moscow’s midnight assault caused damage to over a dozen institutions nationwide.
