The International Business Linkage Forum (IBLF) and the Dubai International Chamber organized the Second UAE-India Partnership Summit 2024, which came to a triumphant conclusion on December 18 at the Taj Hotel in Business Bay, Dubai.
With an emphasis on promoting economic growth, innovation, and bilateral cooperation, this well-known event strengthened the long-standing alliance between the UAE and India. Among the distinguished speakers at the summit were Rajiv Podar, Chairman of the IBLF; Dinesh Joshi, President of the IBLF; Sunjay Sudhir, Ambassador of India to the UAE; Thani Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs; Shri Piyush Goyal, Hon’ble Minister of Commerce & Industry, India; and Pankaj Savara, Head UAE Chapter, IBLF. Together, they emphasized how crucial the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) is to ease trade, lower tariffs, and propel bilateral trade to an all-time high of $84 billion in 2022–2023.
The conference highlighted important areas of cooperation, including manufacturing, fintech, digital transformation, renewable energy, and innovative education, highlighting their enormous potential to promote economic success and sustainable growth. Investment prospects in advanced manufacturing, clean energy, and artificial intelligence and developing strategic alliances to generate value across sectors were discussed.
The event reaffirmed how the capabilities of both countries complement one other, with India’s economy aiming to grow to $5 trillion and the UAE’s Vision 2030 program being advanced.
