The “Dubai Cultural Grant” program has been launched, according to Sheikha Latifa Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture). The program’s goal is to support Dubai’s creative communities and develop the city’s cultural and artistic industries.
The creative program intends to provide a number of grants totaling Dhs180 million, which will be distributed over the following ten years.
These funds are committed to promoting and empowering local talent across various cultural and creative industries, including visual and fine arts, design, performing arts, culinary arts, public art, digital arts, literature, heritage, gaming, museology, and professional development.
Aisha Abdullah Miran, Director-General of the Knowledge and Human Development Authority in Dubai, along with representatives from the Alserkal Group, Art Jameel, Art Dubai Group, the Emirates Literature Foundation, Shatha Essa Kids, HOUSE OF PIANOS, REALITY, the International Centre for Culinary Arts Dubai, Dubai National Theater, and Sandooq Al Watan, as well as a group from the Mohammed bin Rashid Centre for Leadership Development’s (MBRCLD) Impactful Leaders Program and specialists from “Tamakan Studio,” announced an event hosted by Dubai Culture at the Etihad Museum.
