The UAE President praised the pavilion’s organisers’ spirit of cooperation for helping to present a positive image of the UAE and its vision in the field of sustainability, innovation, and investment in technology to protect the environment and its resources.
The organizers of the UAE Pavilion at Expo 2023 Doha expressed their pleasure at meeting Sheikh Mohamed, stating that their participation was successful due to his ongoing support and commitment to ensuring the UAE’s participation was unique and highlighted the country’s achievements on various levels.
They also sent their best wishes to Sheikh Mohamed for the upcoming Eid Al Adha, pleading with God to protect and bless him with continued health and well-being.
The UAE participated in the exhibition with a pavilion themed “Nurturing Legacy,” which was overseen by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in collaboration with the Salama Bint Hamdan Al Nahyan Foundation and the National Projects Office.
Last October, Sheikh Mohamed attended the opening of Expo 2023 Doha, inaugurated by Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, under the theme “Green Desert, Better Environment.”
The UAE Pavilion was chosen for its compatibility with Expo 2023 Doha’s themes, innovative landscape design, careful plant species selection, use of sustainable materials, and engaging environmental and cultural programming. Furthermore, the UAE Pavilion received recognition for its guest experience, which reflected the UAE’s culture and sustainable journey.
