During a visit to the People’s Republic of China, Dr. Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, Managing Director and Group CEO of Adnoc, had bilateral meetings with Chinese government officials and CEOs of Chinese companies.
His visit expands on the energy and industry results of the prosperous state visit to China in May. President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan celebrated the 40th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the United Arab Emirates and China. In the context of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, or CSP, agreements and memorandums of understanding were signed during the visit in important areas and fields of shared interest.
Dr. Sultan Al Jaber met with Xuande Wu, the mayor of Fuzhou, Zhao Chenxin, the vice chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), and Ding Xuexiang, the vice premier of China. The UAE Ambassador to China, His Excellency Hussain Al Hammadi, was also present at the meetings.
On behalf of the UAE leadership, Al Jaber wished the people and government of the People’s Republic of China continued success and advancement. The two parties also discussed how to strengthen their partnership and collaboration in important fields like petrochemicals, oil and gas, renewable energy, PV manufacturing, logistical services, shipping, and storage.
