The Egyptian Minister of Economy, Abdullah Bin Touq Al Marri, met one-on-one with Dr Rania Al Mashat, the country’s Minister of Planning, Economic Development, and International Cooperation, and Lieutenant General Kamel El Wazir, the country’s Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport.
The goal of the conversation was to improve the UAE and Egypt’s economic cooperation in several areas, such as infrastructure, entrepreneurship, the new economy, transportation, the circular economy, agriculture, and industry.
The meeting happened concurrently with Bin Touq’s attendance at the 114th Arab Economic and Social Council session. The UAE presided over the council meeting, which was held at the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States’ Cairo headquarters.
The Minister of Economy emphasised the solid strategic ties and close kinship between Egypt and the United Arab Emirates, which are characterised by thriving partnerships and collaborations across a range of industries.
Both countries possess significant economic resources and potential, as well as advantageous geographic locations that enable easy access to multiple important markets,” stated Bin Touq. The UAE and Egypt’s economic ties are also constantly changing in a variety of areas.
