Emirates has declared that it will resume flights to Amman on October 6, 2024. However, flights to and from Iran (Tehran) and Iraq (Basra and Baghdad) will continue to be cancelled until October 7. Additionally, passengers travelling through Dubai with final destinations in Iran and Iraq will not be allowed to board a flight until October 8, 2024.
Emirates will continue to discontinue flights to and from Beirut through October 15, 2024. According to the announcement, customers who want to transit through Dubai with Beirut as their final destination will not be able to leave their origin until further notice.
If they have a reservation with Emirates, those impacted by this decision are urged to get in touch with the airline directly or to enquire about other travel possibilities with their individual travel agency. Customers have an obligation to make sure that their contact information is accurate and current. One way to accomplish this is to visit the client’s booking management portal, where updates are available.
Emirates said that the situation in the area is being continuously monitored and that communication with the appropriate authorities is being kept open to ensure that any developments are kept under observation.
