The “Unified UAE Numbers” project, a historic national endeavor, was started by the UAE government to improve and fortify the nation’s statistical system in order to facilitate its continuous progress in a number of areas, including economic, demographic, social, and environmental.
Heads and officials of the nation’s statistics centers, as well as His Highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, were present at the occasion when the announcement was made.
The project
its goal is to establish the United Arab Emirates as a world leader in the use of data and statistics to facilitate sound decision-making. It involves all local governments through their individual statistical centers. Its three main focus areas are driving a proactive economy, assisting individuals and society, and advancing renewable energy and sustainable ecosystems.
Sheikh Mansour emphasised that the project, which was carried out in partnership with the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Centre, local statistical centres, executive councils across the country, and private sector partners, demonstrates the UAE government’s dedication to implementing state-of-the-art technology and solutions for utilising data and statistics in decision-making.
