Football fever has returned to the area after Qatar’s 2022 FIFA World Cup success, with Saudi Arabia confirmed to host the 2034 tournament. Emiratis in the United Arab Emirates are thrilled and proud of the confirmation, and they are looking forward to yet another significant milestone for the Gulf.
Emiratis are excited and are expressing their expectations that the Kingdom would once more show the world the friendliness and richness of Arab culture.
Faisal talked about his incredible time in Qatar, where he watched games from the group stages all the way to the Round of 16 and the quarterfinals. “Qatar had an amazing World Cup vibe. You felt as though you were living in the moment during the tournament because of the organization, the stadiums’ proximity, and the fan zones all over the place.
Attending games gave Faisal more motivation as a football referee stationed in Ras Al Khaimah. “I enjoy watching referees’ movements on the field, their decision-making, and how they oversee games. Attending in person offers me special perspectives and inspiration for improving as a referee.
