His Majesty, the third edition of the Global Women’s Forum Dubai 2024 kicked up Tuesday in Dubai, with Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, in attendance.
The event has attracted over 6,000 participants, including prominent international figures, ministers, senior officials, and representatives from international institutions and the private sector, all committed to promoting gender balance and women’s empowerment. Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Finance, and Sheikh Ahmed Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, attended the opening.
Under the visionary leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Mohammed praised global efforts to empower women and reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to promoting gender parity worldwide.
Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, Mother of the Nation, Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union (GWU), President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation (FDF), has made important contributions both locally and globally, Sheikh Mohammed added.
