Masdar City, Abu Dhabi’s leading hub for innovation and sustainability, has announced that Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar) will establish its new global headquarters at The Link, an innovative 30,000-square-metre development that seamlessly integrates living and working spaces with cutting-edge technological infrastructure.
The declaration was made official by an agreement signed during the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW), which brings together global leaders in Abu Dhabi to accelerate sustainable development and socioeconomic growth. The Link is an integral part of Masdar City’s ‘green-print’ for sustainable urban development, and its components meet rigorous sustainability standards.
The mixed-use complex, set to be completed in 2025, includes five business and residential buildings, as well as the Middle East and North Africa’s first net-zero energy shared working and living amenities under one roof.
Mahmoud Al Hosani, Masdar City’s Executive Director of Finance and Support Services, stated, “Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar)’s decision to establish its headquarters at The Link is a strong endorsement of Masdar City’s value proposition for businesses seeking a sustainable and innovative environment. The relocation emphasises the two companies’ common commitment to advancing sustainable development in the UAE and worldwide.
