Dubai International (DXB) is expected to have its busiest January yet, with 4.3 million visitors in the first 15 days of the year. Over 311,000 visitors are anticipated on January 3rd, when daily traffic is predicted to peak. With an average of 287,000 visitors per day during this time—8% more than during the same period in 2024 and 6% more than before the pandemic in 2018–19 DXB is functioning at levels comparable to its busiest months ever, proving its capacity to easily and efficiently meet demand for travel around the world.
This outstanding performance is a result of both residents returning from vacations and an increase in foreign tourists departing after the holiday season. Friday is predicted to have the highest day visitation, with over 311,000 visitors anticipated.
DXB, the top airport in the world for international travel, continues to set the standard for operational excellence by providing flawless connectivity and an unparalleled guest experience on a remarkable scale.
