According to the final plan released by the Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition, Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, with the theme “Designing Future Society for Our Lives,” will take place on Yumeshima island in Osaka from April 13 to October 2025.
According to Arai Yohei, deputy director of the Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition, the event will involve over 161 nations and nine international organizations and is anticipated to draw over 28 million visitors.
He told the Emirates News Agency (WAM) on the sidelines of his tour of Expo City Dubai that in addition to the three sub-themes of “Saving Lives,” “Empowering Lives,” and “Connecting Lives,” the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai theme centers on tackling significant global issues.
He emphasized that because of the extensive bilateral ties between Japan and the United Arab Emirates, the country is significant to Japan. After an inspirational and successful Expo 2020 in Dubai, Japan will continue its quest to address global environmental concerns by taking on the Expo Osaka-Kansai 2025 project.
He disclosed that the UAE pavilion, categorized as Category A and among the most significant international pavilions at Expo Osaka, will be situated in the Empowering Lives Zone, close to the Japanese pavilion.
