Ruth Porat, the president and chief investment officer of Alphabet and Google, met with Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the crown prince of Dubai, deputy prime minister, minister of defence, and chairman of the executive council of Dubai, on Friday to discuss ways to deepen the relationship with the multinational tech behemoth.
Sheikh Hamdan emphasised Dubai’s and the UAE’s dedication to creating a new future through the cross-sector integration of cutting-edge digital technology.
He emphasised the emirate’s expanding role in uniting entrepreneurs, technology innovators, and business titans from around the globe to promote change in important areas of the economy and society. By establishing strategic alliances with industry titans such as Google, Dubai and the UAE hope to stimulate the creation of innovative solutions that will establish new benchmarks in the global technology landscape.
