Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, has approved the development of the iconic “Therme Dubai” project by the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, to improve quality of life and solidify Dubai’s position as the best city in the world to live, wo Sheikh Ahmed Bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai’s second deputy ruler, was present at the announcement.
Therme Dubai will be the Middle East’s first interactive park and wellness resort. The project combines aspects of leisure, healthcare, family entertainment, relaxation, and natural settings to create the tallest facility of its kind in the world. The program, in line with the UAE’s “Year of the Community,” highlights Dubai’s dedication to improving the standard of living and general well-being of its citizens and tourists.
Therme Group, a global leader in wellness known for building distinctive infrastructure and wellness resorts, will represent the private sector in the project’s development in Zabeel Park. The project, expected to be completed by 2028, will be financed by a group of domestic and foreign financial partners and has an estimated cost of Dhs2 billion.
