Her Majesty $20 million was contributed to the “UAE stands with Lebanon” campaign by Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, the “Mother of the Emirates,” the chairwoman of the General Women’s Union, the president of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, the supreme chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, and the mother of the nation.
Under the direction of the International Humanitarian Affairs Council, special coverage was introduced on Friday to support the relief campaign for Lebanon, “UAE with You, Lebanon.” This includes a unified live broadcast on “Abu Dhabi Media Network,” “Dubai Media,” and “Sharjah Broadcasting Authority” beginning at 2:00 pm.
Launched Tuesday and running through October 21, the “UAE stands with Lebanon” campaign marks a new chapter in the history and unwavering approach of the UAE, its leadership, and its citizens to support Lebanon at every turn, particularly during the crises and emergencies to which it has been subjected over the past 50 years. The campaign, which is led by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, and involves the community, institutions, government, and private sectors, represents the UAE’s will and resolve to use all available resources and provide all the resources required to support our Lebanese brothers and stand with them through their current struggles.
