Sharjah uses AI technology to provide trade licenses in five minutes. The world’s first trade licence issued only by artificial intelligence (AI) has been introduced by Sharjah. This innovative move allows investors and business owners to finish the licensing procedure in under five minutes.
The initiative was introduced on Wednesday at the Sharjah Investment Forum (SIF 2024) in the presence of Microsoft, Sharjah Publishing City (SPC) Free Zone, the Sharjah FDI Office (Invest in Sharjah), Sheikha Bodour Bint Sultan Al Qasimi, the Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and Sheikh Abdullah Bin Salem Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, the Deputy Ruler of Sharjah.
Investors and businesses will be able to get their trade licenses in less than five minutes thanks to the soon-to-be service, which will initially be accessible through the SPC Free Zone and the Sharjah Investor Services Centre (Saeed). Other free zones in Sharjah will soon be included in the service’s expansion. With this significant achievement, Invest in Sharjah further solidifies its dedication to promoting collaboration and investment between regional and international markets by positioning it as the world’s first investment promotion agency to use AI technology for trade licence issuance.
