Kyiv Disputes Russia’s Claim That a Ukrainian Drone Attack Targeted one of Putin’s Homes

Kyiv promptly denied Russia’s foreign minister’s accusation that one of President Vladimir Putin’s homes was the target of a Ukrainian drone assault on Monday. Sergey Lavrov stated that “Russia’s negotiating position will be revised” in the current peace negotiations aimed at stopping Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine in response to the purported attack in the Novgorod region. Lavrov stated that although there were no injuries or damage from the incident, the Russian military has chosen targets for “retaliatory strikes.

Zelensky noted that the assertion was made the day after he spent nearly three hours in Florida meeting with US President Donald Trump.

Zelensky stated earlier on Monday that the two presidents agreed in the most recent version of the peace plan that the US would guarantee Ukrainian security for 15 years, with the possibility to extend those guarantees, despite the fact that the talks did not result in a significant breakthrough.

“Russia is at it once more, undermining all of the successes of our joint diplomatic work with President Trump’s administration by making reckless statements. Zelensky wrote on X, “We continue to work together to bring peace closer.
