The Honourable The Vice President, Prime Minister, and ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, met with Chen Miner, a member of the Chinese Communist Party Politburo and the Communist Party Secretary of Tianjin.
Upon welcoming Miner and his delegation, Sheikh Mohammed emphasised the close ties and broad scope of cooperation that exist between the United Arab Emirates and the People’s Republic of China in the areas of politics, economy, culture, and development. He emphasised that both parties are committed to fortifying the strategic partnership, driven by a shared vision of development and prosperity.
Sheikh Mohammed also emphasised how President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and President Xi Jinping of China have continued to foster positive ties between the UAE and China.
The meeting, which was attended by Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, the Chairman of Dubai Airports, the President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, and the Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, also looked at ways to improve bilateral cooperation, with an emphasis on areas that are essential to the goals that both countries have for the future.
